After a number of weeks playing more of a rock / alt selection than anything else, I decided that it was time to slow it down a bit and get a little more laid back. It’s an opportune time too, as I’ve had a fair amount of just that type of music coming in to help me create the right vibe. So, slip off your shoes, snuggle up in your favourite armchair and enjoy this week’s fine selection.

The opening track from singer / songwriter / multi-instrumentalist and producer Robin Tymm’s new album, Whole Lies & Half-Truths. Robin exemplifies the true spirit of the independent artist by doing it all himself and trusting that listeners and fans will support him by buying enough to at least recoup his costs. It’s that pioneering, can-do spirit that really warms my heart. It helps too that the CD is a little slice of brilliance. Buy it. Now !!
