Show 108 – Stroke the T

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

What do you get when you put together two exclusives and two tracks from two loons, and then throw in a cuppa ? Well, you get this week’s terrific tracks on Three From Leith. With a little weather chat, news on spreading the word about podsafe bands by wearing their apparel on dress-down days and more amiable waffling, what more could you want on a chilly autumnal Tuesday ?

You are indeed psychic, Oh Wise One. But you misread the tea leaves: I played 2 songs by Two Loons. As well as Sunset Rooms I played an excellent song called Blue Suit, so if anyone want to head over to my podcast 92 …

The Eisenhowers will of course be coming soon.

Richard’s ident opened pods and blogs for a second week, so get Jasna in there ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for playing the Eisenhowers, Grant. I’m delighted to be keeping such excellent musical company. I thought ‘Turning Circles’ was an excellent album and now it appears that Dropkick are about to up their game yet again.
‘Two loons for tea’ are new to me and I will definitely be checking out more of their stuff. They reminded me a little of the under-rated ‘Swan Dive’; I thought the vocals had a wee touch of Stevie Nicks as well. Clearly a very accomplished outfit.
