Show 244 – Prog-asm!

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

Well, a little late because my podcasting time has been used up in other ways (daughter time!), but here it is – a superb taste of Floydian & Genesis/Marillion-esque prog. That explains the extended running time, as you can see! Enjoy – I certainly did.

Only a four-day week last week, and a four day week this week – then I’m off for a week on childcare duty. It almost feels like having a summer holiday, though I’m going nowhere! Still, there’ll be plenty of time to listen to lots of great music like this when I’m sitting at home.

Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

Time to pull back a little and take it a bit easier with some less frantic, more acoustic music this week. It’s ironic really, as I’m typing these shownotes on a wild & windy night with gusts battering off the side of TFL Towers….

Good King Friday – Carousel

Nick Tann – 3am

Franco & The Dreadnought – Bulletproof / Last Man Standing

It’s the end of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe for another year; the acts have packed up and left, the Festival Fireworks have long fizzled out and the tourists are drifting away. Fear not, however – for the Scottish artists will play on long & loud on the Three From Leith podcast! Thus week there’s a treat as we have three for you.

Prince Edward Island – You Look Like I Need A Drink

Letters – Flash!Lights!

Cancel The Astronauts – Playing Hard To Get / Seven Vices
