It’s been a sad few weeks for me, as a number of my favourite things have come to an end. I thought it was bad enough when ‘Fags, Mags & Bags’ ended, but then came the hammer-blow: Hungry Lucy was no more. One of my favourite bands from my time as a podcaster, the band came into my life towards the end of 2005. less than 3 months after the birth of Three From Leith. They’ve been around ever since, and become virtual friends who I’d one day hoped to see playing live, but it was destined never to be, for Lucy’s finally ‘had her tea’. In celebration of the band’s short life, this week’s podcast is a little tribute featuring some of my favourite tracks from the past 8 years.
Hungry Lucy – Her Song / Rainfall / My Beloved / We Won’t Go / Balloon Girl / Wandering / Shine

Thank you for continuing to support the independent artists in 2013 by listening, feeding back and buying their music.
