You’ll have noticed….

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

…that there’s no show this week. I gave up after 90 mins of repeated PC freezes during recording last Friday. If I can get to the root of the problem, I’ll try the same show again next week. Sorry.

Show 225 – Lost to Stuttering

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

Better late than never with the shownotes, now that I’ve won against OpenOffice after an aborted few hours last night! If anyone knows how to delete folders in Vista that won’t delete though, let me know! Enough tech though, on with the show. Low memory on the PC meant that I had to re-record the vocals a number of times to get them out without stuttering losing half of what I had recorded – other than losing my thread, hopefully it’s not too obvious!

Night Noise Team – ‘Burning’

Mars Patrol – ‘That’s What You Get’

The Scottish Enlightenment – ‘Little Sleep’ / ‘Taxidermy of Love’

The soundbed was ‘Ghost Song’ by All India Radio
Three From Leith theme-tune by Alex Aitken

Show 224 – Adding Atmosphere

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

Life is always testing you – sometimes more than others. Between job worries, money worries and other little things, sometimes things just get to to you. Well, that’s me this week. A little more maudlin than usual, but there’s some fine ambient music to help you (and me) to chill a little before the pace is picked up a little by the last two artists.

Absent again

Monday, November 8th, 2010

Other things on my mind this week – yes, the little crawlers have not been completely eradicated so another extremely costly treatment is required. Didn’t really feel in the podcasting mood after finding that out…. hopefully I’ll be back next week!

Show 223 – Eclectic To The End

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

Listen here or use the player on the right, though I’d love you to subscribe !

We bounce off at a slightly obtuse angle this week with a very eclectic selection of tunes from three artists that have all featured on the podcast before. Slightly off-the-wall, tinged with oddness, but all damn good. And there’s also talk of the time-travelling mobile user.
